We've tried to make your life easier, by answering a selection of your most frequently asked questions. We've tried to answer everything from products, to delivery and everything in between. General:

• What are your opening hours?

Because we are an online business you are able to get in touch via email any time of the day, 7 days a week. We aim to respond to any emails within 3 hours. Alternatively, our phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm should you wish to give us a call.

• Do you have a physical store I can visit?

We are solely an online business and don’t currently have any physical showrooms.

• Do you make your own furniture?

No, we don’t produce any of our own furniture. All of our products are from trusted, and well established suppliers who take pride in creating quality furniture and homeware.

• What is your returns policy?

All customers have the right to return any item within 14 days of the order being delivered. 

Returns are easy, simply email us at orders@houseofrattan.co.uk within 14 days of the date of receipt and we will take care of the return. Please see our Delivery & Returns page for more information, including return costs:

Products:

• Is your furniture waterproof?

All of our garden furniture is weather proof. All other furniture is not and should be protected from the elements as appropriate. With regards to garden furniture, furniture frames can be left outdoors uncovered. Please note, the cushion covers for our garden sets are only shower proof and need to be taken indoors over winter, or during heavy rainfall.

• Is all of your rattan natural?

All of our indoor furniture rattan is 100% natural and our garden furniture tends to be made from synthetic rattan. The garden sets are made using stainless metal frames and synthetic rattan to ensure that the furniture is weatherproof, as natural rattan would rot outdoors. This gives customers the luxury of having the best of both worlds.

• Do all products match?

Every measure has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. Not all our ranges are supplied by the same supplier, which may result in some slight variations of colour and weave of the rattan.

• Are the cushions included?

Cushions in the garden sets are usually included unless stated otherwise. 

• How should I store my garden furniture cushions?

Indoors. Our cushions are not fully waterproof, so if you want to keep them in pristine condition then we always advise to keep them indoors, when they are not being used.

• Can I wash the cushion covers?

Yes, the cushion covers can become dirty over time, and small stains can appear after everyday wear and tear. We advise that you wash our cushion covers at 30°, so they don’t get damaged in the wash.

Payments:

• What are my payment options?

We have a variety of payment options available so completing your order is made easy. You can pay via card payment, GooglePay, PayPal and Klarna.

• How do I add my promo code?

All of our promotions are advertised on the site so you know which discounts are currently active, or you can sign up to our newsletter and we’ll keep you updated with exclusive offers. Once you receive your discount code, you then need to find an item that is valid in the discount and add it to your basket. Click the promo code button during checkout and enter your discount code, which will then alter the price once you click apply.

Delivery:

• How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to have your item with you as quickly as possible. However, due to the different brand partnerships we have, we can't give a one-size-fits-all answer. Please see the delivery information section, found at the bottom of each product page for specific information.

• How much is the delivery charge?

Delivery to all mainland UK addresses on ALL orders is FREE.
